President Donald Trump was briefed on a North Korea ballistic missile launch while it was still in the air, the White House said Tuesday.
“We will take care of it,” Trump said in remarks after the test.
Pyongyang fired a new ballistic missile, the South Korean news agency, Yonhap, said.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said that Trump was visiting Congress at the time of the launch.
She said the US president “was briefed, while the missile was still in the air, on the situation in North Korea.”
