Police in Ghana have revealed their intent to investigate the viral video of Shatta Wale firing his gun sporadically in the air.
Public Affairs Director of Ghana Police, ACP David Eklu made this known in an interview on Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Hitz FM.
Eklu said, “If you fire a gun without lawful and necessary reasons it is an offence”.
He, however, noted that the video may have been edited, hence their investigation.
“I have seen the video I don’t know the circumstance under which the video was shot. For all we know it could have been tailored to create an impression,” the PPRO said.
After what seemed an endless troll against Nigerian artistes by Shatta Wale, last week, the bitter singer made a final threat at Nigerian Singer Wizkid, stating that if he does not apologize to Sarkodie for the African Music Fest controversy, he will shoot him.
Veteran Ghanaian singer Tic Tac has called for the arrest of the disturbed singer for publicly firing a gun in the air.
