Officials from the Nigerian Mission in South Africa, Nigerian Union in South Africa and South Africa Independent Police Investigating Directorate (IPID) are set to probe the killing of a Nigerian Clement Kalu in the country.

The meeting, which is expected to hold this morning in Pretoria, will involve discussion about the autopsy report on Kalu, who was killed in Springs, near Johannesburg.

It was alleged that Clement Kalu, 35, was tortured to death by the South African police, the same manner, Kingsley Ikeri, another Nigerian was allegedly killed in KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa.

The investigating officer confirmed that there were no bruises on the deceased when he was examined, rather, his lungs were congested and a white substance was retrieved from his stomach area. This, he said, is subject to toxicology testing which may take time.
