It seems embattled Senator Dino Melaye is not going down without a fight as he is set to send a petition to the Senate accusing Chief of Staff to the Kogi State government house, Edward Onoja, of fraud when was a staff of the Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB).

Melaye, who took to his Twitter account to make the disclosure, lambasted Governor Yahaya Bello, saying the only project embarked upon by the governor is the move to ensure his recall from the federal house of assembly.

“The only project that Kogi State Govt. is happily undertaking is Dino’s recall. It doesn’t matter if workers are not paid. Sad,” he tweeted.

The senator who is representing Kogi West senatorial district complemented his claim with documents he alleged to have been signed by Onoja.

“Edward Onoja’s corruption case and why he left the bank will be reopened as the petition will be submitted to the Nigerian Senate.

“They obviously have not watched the Arnold Schwazenneger film TOTAL RECALL. GYB is cruising for a bruising from Senator Terminator! Na God!”

Onoja’s petition

There has been reports (not from Concise News) that the former bank personnel defrauded some of his account holders to move their money into a special account that would yield big interest and giving them fake check in the process to withdraw the money.

Onoja and some others, who allegedly worked as syndicate, bankrupted some Nigerians who had to part with millions of naira to the syndicate.

According to reports, the syndicate convinced other people by paying the initial interest rate for some months, after which both the invested fund and interest were never paid again.
