Nigerian pop singer, Dammy Krane, was reportedly arrested on Friday in, Florida, US, for alleged credit card scams and armed robbery.
Krane, (Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel) shot to fame in January 2012, when he signed a record deal with 2face Idibia imprint, Hypertek Records. He is most famous for his hits “My Dear” and ”Amin”.
The singer is currently signed to DMW (Davido music worldwide) a label imprint owned by Davido.
According to reports from American prison search site, Jailbase, Dammy Krane was arrested on June 2nd 2017 and his bail may rise as high as $50,000, if he is convicted of armed robbery.
This development comes just a day after the singer posted a lavish photo of him lounging on a private jet in the United States.
Krane, who has not done much in the music industry in recent times, floated a non profit outfit called the Amin Foundation in February.
According to the singer, the foundation is an anti-malaria campaign which renders help to children and old people.
He staged his first life concept that month tagged Amin concert, to officially launch the foundation.
