The British police and Army bomb disposal experts had earlier in the day arrived at a college.

According to the police, it was not immediately clear what they were responding to.

“Police are responding to a call at a college in Trafford. Officers are in attendance and we are currently assessing the situation, “Greater Manchester Police said in a statement.

Trafford is a borough of Greater Manchester to the south of the city centre.

A suicide bomber killed 22 people at a concert hall in Manchester, northern England, on Monday.

It later apologised for the confusion after making necessary search and security checks in the school.

It also later corrected the report saying the army attended Linby street in Hulme and not a college in Trafford.
