Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has described the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke as a consummate gentleman whose brand of politics endeared him to many.
Akeredolu, who paid tribute to the departed lawmaker in a statement, said his death was a great loss, not only to his family but the Yoruba race and Nigeria.
He consoled with Adeleke’s family, saying “Senator Adeleke’s deep reservoir of knowledge about the politics of the country would be missed by all.”
”He was a peacemaker who believed in the principle of justice and fair play.
“I pray that God Almighty will grant the family and indeed our great country the fortitude to bear this great loss,” the Governor said.
