The former education minister posted on her Twitter handle: “WE @BBOG_Nigeria are merely KEEPING OUR WORD made 3 years ago, that WE SHALL NOT stop until #ChibokGirls ARE BROUGHT BACK. It was a PLEDGE.”

She also slammed the federal government for towing the line of its predecessor as it continues to badly manage the situation, failing to fulfil its promise of setting up a structured feedback mechanism.

“There is NO BASIS for the FG badly handling OUR #ChibokGirls tragedy on which the whole world HEARD the PROMISES made for their RESCUE.

“How did this FG FAIL in the PROMISE it made July 8, 2015 meeting with @MBuhari & @ProfOsiinbajo to SET UP the STRUCTURED FEEDBACK MECHANISM?

“This FG has sadly NOT shown itself to be any less shoddy & callous in MANAGING the tragedy. Is it so HARD to learn lessons from the past?

She also commended Emir of Kano  Muhammad Sunusi the 2nd, Sarkin Kano.
