One of Nigeria’s great highlife singers, Tony Grey, has died, following a battle with prostate cancer and diabetes.
Grey, who was a sensation in the mid 70s through the early 90s, had been critically ill and needed money for medical treatment.
It was gathered that the legendary singer suffered Diabetes and prostate cancer and would have been adequately treated abroad if only the fund was available.
Greyan indigene of Aboh in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State, was born probably in the 50’s or earlier.
He sang the following songs: Ozimba, She is my love, My Message, Come Back Love among others.
