The Department of State Services (DSS), has released Babatunde Gbadamosi a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and a fierce critic of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Gbadamosi was last week arrested by the DSS upon honouring an invitation by the agency.
The PDP Chieftain was immediately taken to Abuja, after his arrest, where he had since been in custody.
PREMIUM TIMES reports his wife, Sade Gbadamosi saying he was released at 1:00 p.m. Thursday.
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, also confirmed his release via twitter.
My aburo @BOGbadamosi has finally been released by the DSS. This is a victory for democracy and the rule of law. Praise the Lord!
