The 2017 Africa’s Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) will hold on the 4th and 5th of March with various movies nominated in each category.

Izu Ojukwu’s 76 has 14 nominations, followed by Steve Guaka’s 93 Days with 12 and Ayo Makun’s Trip To Jamaica with 5 nominations.

76 had an overall estimated gross of N75 million, at the start of 2017, it was highly anticipated in international cinemas and local cinemas and it met viewers expectations.

The movie is about the unnerving civil war that took place in 1976, where the movie got it’s title. It raked $3 million dollars for its total production budget.

Without much deliberation, a look at ’76, and other movies nominated for this year’s AMVCA.
