Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has joined Chinese side Dalian Quanjian from Arsenal Ladies, the English club has confirmed.
“We will like to thank Asisat for her contributions to Arsenal Ladies during the 2016 season and wish her well in her upcoming move, which is subject to the completion of the player’s registration process,’’ the club said.
The Nigerian joined the North London side from Liverpool in 2016, after winning the BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year Award in 2015.
Osholala, 22, helped the Gunners win the Women’s FA Cup at Wembley in May and recently won the 2016 Africa Women’s Player of the Year Award.
She was part of the Super Falcons side that won a record eighth African title at the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
