By Victor Ernest with Agency Report
The bouncers engaged by the organisers of the Lagos City Marathon were said to have manhandled and prevented accredited journalists from gaining entry to the press conference rooms of the Eko Atlantic City.
Journalists were also reported by NAN to have been denied entry to the VIP area, Work Station and Mixed Zone.
According to reports, a Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) journalist had his camera smashed by the bouncers and a reporter from the Punch Newspaper was also manhandled.
The journalists also complained about the accreditation tag which does not contain a lot of areas filled in their accreditation forms.
However, it was reported, at the time of publishing this report, that the organisers who did not provide a mixed zone, were yet to resolve the issue.
