Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, on Monday via his twitter account notified his followers of his intention to join in the upcoming protest to be led by music icon, Innocent ‘Tuface’ Idibia.
The protest, tagged Ënough is Enough” is billed to hold on Sunday, February 5. It, according to Tuface, is a protest aimed at showing the displeasure of Nigerians at the way the country is being run. He says the executive and other arms of government have failed the people and the time is here for citizens to let their voice be heard.
Governor Fayose is the latest among celebrities and known names to show their support publicly though he is the only member of the ruling class who has.
Below is the tweet by the governor.
To organisers of Feb. 5
"Enough is Enough" National Protest, you have my total support and I will be part of the protest.
