The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, wants the Federal Government to tell Nigerians the true state of the country’s security.
The governor made the call on Monday while addressing journalists in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital, hours after a suicide attack on University of Maiduguri killed four persons.
Fayose does not agree with Federal Government’s position that Nigeria is winning the war against insurgency, as he said happenings in the past few weeks have shown that the country was being ‘governed by propagandists’.
The governor further said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remained the only party which had better solution to resolve the nation’s challenges.
Governor Fayose was reacting to the blast at a mosque in the University of Maiduguri in Borno State, in Nigeria’s northeast.
