Popular artiste Sunny Nneji on Monday, urged the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) to promote unity and involve all stakeholders in decision making for maximum results in 2017.
The Tolotolo singer made the plea in an interview with NAN in Lagos, where he said that when the ‘movers and shakers’ cooperated among themselves, then beautiful music can thrive.

“This is a new year and I welcome everybody into it. However, it is necessary for the leaders in the music industry to be unified in making decisions.” He advised
Adding that “It is only when we can speak with one voice that progressive steps can be attained and our goals can be reached,’’
The music genius who is popularly known with his ‘oruka’, ‘tolotolo’ songs said that unification in the association would enable nothing but the best in terms of productivity.
He further stressed that, unification will make it easier to set a standard and enforce such standards for the production of quality songs that can preserve Nigerian culture across the world.
“When there is unity in any sphere of life, only the best can be expected from such venture,’” he said.
He concluded with his optimism for the music industry in 2017, expressing confidence especially in the rise of the upcoming talented artiste.
