The case of two homosexuals, Paul Frank, 31, and Ejimofor Christian, 22, has been revisited at the Oredo Magistrate Court Benin city and have been granted N100, 000 bail each.
The Homosexuals To Provide A Surety Each
Chief Magistrates, Mrs M.C. Ojobo, who granted the accused persons bail said they should provide a surety each in like sums, and added that the sureties must be civil servants working with the Edo State Government.
The pair who were charged for crimes bothering on conspiracy, unlawful carnal knowledge and stealing were remanded in prison on the 28th of December for due consideration of bail applications.
The trial of the offences which contravened Section 214 (3), 217 (3), 390 (3) and 516 of the criminal Code has been adjourned to January 17 for hearing.
