Nigerian champions Rangers will take on Algerian side J.S. Saoura in the preliminary round of the 2017 CAF Champions League.
The continent’s football ruling body made the draws for next year’s inter-club competitions on Wednesday in Cairo Egypt.
And the Flying Antelopes, who are making their return to Africa’s top-flight after 32 years, will visit The Eagles for the first leg on the weekend of 10 to 12 February, while the reverse fixture comes up a week later.
Rivers travel to Bamako
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s other representatives in the competition Rivers United will engage AS Réal Bamako. The Port Harcourt side, like their compatriots, will travel for the first leg in Bamako.
