Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr is confident of victory for his side in Saturday’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria.
Rohr, who had a chat with reporters in Uyo, Thursday, believes the players at his disposal are capable of flying past the Algerians.
“I try to see a lot of young players. Our team is a mixture of young players and the experienced. We expect victory.
“We want to win this game. Our stars are humble. They are good examples for the young players. They are in good mind. They will be efficient on Saturday,’’ Rohr said.
Meanwhile, captain of the side John Obi Mikel has reassured Nigerians of the team’s readiness to defeat the Algerians. The Chelsea midfielder said even though he expects a tight game, they will get the job done.
“The Algerians are a very good side; we have a task to win the match,’’ he said.
