Reports in Italy say Marco Fassone will fly to China next week ahead of the takeover of AC Milan.
The club’s new owners have chosen Fassone as the Director General of the seven-time winners.
According to Sky, he will fly to the Far East on Monday to meet with the new owners, and will remain in China all week.
Once the direction of the new project has been defined, the consortium can move toward completing their takeover.
To complete takeover before derby
It’s thought the club’s new parent company, Sino-Europe, want to have the deal done before the Derby della Madonnina against Inter, which takes place on November 20.
