Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High court has withdrawn from the trial of the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki.
Ademola announced his decision before the court today. He cited the recent allegations of corruption by the DSS, as the reason for his action.
The DSS which is the prosecution in the ongoing case, raided Ademola’s house on October 7 and arrested him. It also claimed to have found huge sums of money, in foreign currencies in his residence during the raid
The judge had earlier written to the Chief Justice of Nigeria. He claimed harassment and intimidation for granting bail to Dasuki and IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.
