PDP candidate at the recently concluded Edo state Governorship poll, Osagie Ize-Iyamu has reiterated his determination to challenge the results at the elections tribunal

Ize-Iyamu disclosed this during a thanksgiving service in Benin on Sunday. He noted that he is set to “pursue and recover” his mandate like the biblical David.

He was accompanied by his running mate, John Yakubu; the state Chairman of the PDP, Chief Dan Orbih, and the senator representing Edo-South senatorial district, Matthew Urhoghide.

Ize-Iyamu also urged his supporters to keep their faith in God and not to be discouraged as He is set to recover his mandate.

Ize-Iyamu vowed to follow in the footsteps of the incumbent Governor Adams Oshiomhole, whom he said had protested INEC declared the then PDP candidate, Prof. Oserhiemen Osunbor, as the winner of the 2007 poll
