Nollywood actors Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, and Odunlade Adekola were reportedly attacked by armed men after a Glo music show at the weekend.

Mr Latin told PREMIUM TIMES that they were on their way to Shagamu from the events when they ran into the gunmen.

He said, “We left Ijebu-Ode after the show and heading to Abeokuta, when at about 7.30 p.m. we ran into the armed robbers already stationed themselves on the road.”

The hilarious actor said they had to abandon their vehicles to hide in a bush for about two hours.

Mr Latin said the robbers burgled their vehicles and made away with valuables including money and cell phones.

“We took to our heels as the robbers pursued us with guns. We were in the bush for about two hours, before we later regained freedom after the robbers left the scene,” he explained.

The actor also narrated that some vigilante members took them to Ogun State University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, for medical aid.
